The Tastebuds group evolved when Tastebuds Coffee Systems was born from decades of experience within the vending & coffee sector, delivering services to many different customer bases.
Tastebuds Vending Limited was founded from scratch back in 2001 by Lee Chilver who started out as a trainee engineer working at Gardener Merchant who later become Sodexho (now Sodexo) quickly working his way from trainee to senior engineer. This was at the time vending was seeing its first cashless systems. After many years within the corporate setting and three generations of, off line card systems, as a employee new challenges were needed to satisfy Lee’s need to challenge his abilities.
It was in 2001 when the decision was taken to leave Sodexo behind as there was no progression possible. With this I contacted vending companies and started out doing there technical services, working alongside current teams to progress them forward to reduce the amount of service calls outstanding and avoiding more that were avoidable with forward thinking maintenance plans.
With this in place and demand rising it was time to start our own routes and with potential clients contacted and relationships built the rest is history.
We will be Celebrating 20 years in 2021, after suffering the pandemic we will continue to grow from the ashes of Covid19 and remain strong, supporting our staff for with 100% pay, zero redundancies, we are now looking to enhance our team with new recruits.
